Philippe Aghion - 2025 Nobel Prize in Economics
Philippe Aghion is a French economist and Professor at the Collège de France and INSEAD. His pioneering work on innovation, economic growth, competition, and the process of “creative destruction” has reshaped modern growth theory. In 2025, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics for his contributions to understanding innovation-driven economic growth.
Jean-Michel Blanquer - Chairman Terra Academia
Jean-Michel Blanquer is a French professor of public law and former senior education official. He served as Rector of the Academy of French Guiana (2004–2006) and Rector of the Academy of Créteil (2007), before becoming Director General of ESSEC Group in France. From 2017 to 2022, he was French Minister of National Education and Youth, also serving as Minister for Sports in 2020.
